Position: Senior Manager, Risk Management

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Implement risk management framework in different development programme which will include risk measurement, identification, and monitoring the risks
  • Working microfinance programme levels of the organization to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both a strategic level and at the operational level
  • Participate in preparing risk management capacity development training module and suggest proposals for development of the modules
  • Communicate risk strategy and policies by arranging meetings and seminars on risk management for the beneficiaries and stakeholders
  • Ability to constructively challenge, consult and advise, whilst maintaining excellent relationships and the respect of senior programme management. Follow-up on risk management reports with the concerned of all development programme
  • Prepare quarterly risk management report for the head of risk management and stakeholders
  • Lead and supervise the different programme risk assessment team for risk assessment
  • Establishing and quantifying the organization’s ‘risk appetite’, i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept
  • Assist in the development of and manage processes to identify and evaluate business areas risks and control self-assessments
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Risk Management Framework applied to the various Programmes of BRAC within the assigned districts

 

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA/ Statistics from any recognised national/ international university with minimum 2nd class/ division in all academic examination

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in NGO/ Business where 3 to 5 years in a Risk Management is required

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Assist Head of Risk Management to prepare reports for the Risk Management Committee
  • Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with other related programme and units to achieve the organization’s goals/ objectives
  • Sound organizational planning and implementation skills, and demonstrated ability to apply them in rapidly changing business environments
  • Strong leadership to create and sustain a culture of accountability, ownership and delivery
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to inform or influence specific audiences
  • Skill in Advance Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and also in grou
  • Strong analytic, logical reasoning, and problem solving, risk vs. reward skills

 

Age Range: Maximum 40 years

Salary Range: Negotiable
